Title:  Help Your School Stop Bullying!

Audience:  Children Grades K - 5

Length: 45 mins.

Description: This is a passionate multi-media presentation for children. Parents are also encouraged to attend.  Reports indicate that some children have an instant change of heart and bullying is reduced after hearing this presentation. It is designed to empower bystanders, to give bullied children and their parents hope, and to promote the Golden Rule – treat others the way you want to be treated. It includes movie clips, music clips, and a variety of objects lessons (e.g., soda can, milk, banana, paper, skewers, toothbrush, toothpaste, glue, Styrofoam plate, onion, and apple) that paint unforgettable pictures in the minds of children. The presentation discusses the need for children to have “Pretty Hearts,” to “Guard their Tongues,” and to “Guard their Hearts.” It ends with a challenge to children. (Note:  When Dr. Beane speaks to students K-5, he does not tell his heart breaking and frightening stories.)
